In the hidden places and nether realms of this world there can be found lurking a unique specimen of ghecko. This creature exibits certain unique qualities, among them jewel-toned blue skin. Also set aside by the fact that it ranges from 4-7 ft. long, this beautiful amphibean seems to subsist on sensation alone, which it is able to convert to glucose through a process modern science is only beginning to understand. Those who undertake its study find themselves richly rewarded, but it is a fairly difficult task as the ghecko can throw an glamour that allows it to blend into the background perfectly. The species reproduces slowly, only as older specimens die are new animals born. This is a practical protection against overpopulation, as the females appear to stop aging once they reach thier prime. The males continue to age, and only mate with the females when it becomes neccesary for there to be new offspring. Oberservation has revealed an affinity for lesbianism, the females choose a female mate and build nests together. Males range in packs, drawn to females only when they hear the mating cry on the wind.

The only specimens captured were found to excrete a substance from their brains which varied dramatically in its application. Sometimes it runs red and is highly caustic, sometimes white and is an effective aphrodasiac. On the night of the full moon it runs blue-ish, and a smear applied to the eyelids is an effective cure for writers block and such, as it jumpstarts/upgrades the imagination. The secretions of its skin are a powerful hallucinogen, favored among the cult members of the Blue Ghecko.
